BIOGRAPHY

Hello visitor! Let me tell you a bit more about me. I was born in the Mediterranean coast of Spain, In Málaga, where I grew up and trained in my early years as a student.

Even though I consider myself Spanish, I am a mix of two nationalities. My father is Italian and my mother is Spanish, so I grew up as a bilingual kid.

I started doing theatre when I was 6 years old, and this is a funny story. My sister, who is older than me, had a drama club at her high school and I was always asking her if I could join and perform with her and her friends... "You are too young!" She would say. Well, that did not stop  me and  a few weeks later I was part of the club and everyone adored me. From that moment, I discovered I belong to the world of the arts and the stage. Singing, acting and dancing was something I started doing at a very young age. I was the free entertainment of the family in every birthday, wedding, any kind of celebration.

Later in time, I started my ballet training through the Royal Academy of Dance, and I was the only boy in class. I don't remember if there was a moment I decided I wanted to start dancing professionally, but what I know is that from a very young age I was exposed to all these films my sister would show me. I remember as if it was yesterday the moment I was 8 and saw Cabaret for the first time. My mind was blown. I was very young also. But not just Cabaret, also The Wizard of Oz, Singing in the Rain, The Broadway Melody, An american in Paris, plus all the Disney movies. I think all that made me decide I wanted to do that.

At the age of 17 I started my professional training as an actor at the Dramatic Arts School of Málaga in the specialty of Musical Theatre as I continued with my Dance training outside college at Marbella Dance School, training in Vaganova technique.

At the age of 19 I made my professional debut in the Antonio Banderas- Legend Baayork Lee production of the Broadway show A Chorus Line, playing the role of Mark, the character is the naive young boy new in the industry and surrounded by all these stars and experienced people... Sounds familiar right? And with  A Chorus Line the most beautiful journey I have ever made, my career began. I did the show for three years with a pandemic in between. Málaga, Madrid, Barcelona and a tour. And I was not just surrounded by all these amazing and talented people (I knew them all before because I was a follower and fan of most of all of them) but I was working with the Broadway Legend Baayork Lee and Hollywood star Antonio Banderas. It was too good to be true, but It was. That show showed me a lot of important things for my personal and professional life.

When A Chorus Line ended, I traveled to New York City for the first time to achieve my goals as a performer and study the history and the roots of my craft in Musical Theatre and jazz dance. My first time out of Europe, New York felt like an unaccessible dream. It was then when I was cast for the Original Broadway show CATS for Royal Caribbean as Alonzo. One of my dream shows at that time.

After 7 moths touring the Caribbean, South America and Canada with CATS I moved permanently to New York City where I live now. And sometimes I still can not believe it. I made a very crazy decision, but it went well!

The city welcomed me as I joined the Ballet company Ballets with a Twist as a corps the Ballet and soloist dancer. I always keep learning and researching about my craft and the roots of jazz and the different forms in Musical Theatre and Dance and always try to become a better performer, studying and learning from the work of masters as Bob Fosse, Jerome Robbins or Jack Cole. At the moment Jack Cole has an important part in my life. I am part of the Jack Cole Dancers, a company that preserves the legacy and work of the choreographer Jack Cole.

My last work in Musical theatre was at the Broadway show Anastasia at White Plains Performing Arts Center and soon you will see me at the upcoming production of West Side Story at Pittsburg CLO and Kansas Starlight.

Now you know more about me!! Maybe too much...
